Known for their sticky-slow, deconstructed, and atmospheric sound, they garnered critical acclaim in the UK. The band formed when the members lived, worked, and partied together in a hedonistic Liverpool mansion known as "The Lodge". The original lineup consisted of: Andrew Hunt (Vocals and Synths) Nicholas Hunt (Guitar) Thomas Gorton (Keyboards and Co-lyricist) Christopher Hutchinson (Bass Guitar) David Berger (Drums and Production) Though the band members eventually pursued other projects, Outfit is highly regarded for their unique, cerebral take on guitar pop and their ability to capture a disoriented, urban atmosphere.
