About Orlogin

Orlogin describes his sound as ‘like a heavy pendulum recorded via a dusty tape recorder’. We think it’s pretty superb- deep, sensitive and beautiful. Call it post-dubstep or witch house if you will, this is experimental electronica done very well indeed. The artist sums the EP up perfectly with this anecdote ‘Orlogin is looking for the missing frequencies on the scale. He pulls them out of their hiding place and the outcome is a dark soundtrack for a haunted house. Orlogin roams in his haunted house seeking for his night creatures. He covers them with broken heart beat rhythms. His basslines are deep and accurate. They find their way comfortably to the listener’s ear.’ ‘In the Light of Your Presence’ is out now on Los-Jubilee.
