One Block Radius is a hip-hop group from San Francisco, CA made up of Marty James, DJ MDA (both formerly of Scapegoat Wax), along with emcee Z-Man of Sacred Hoop and 99th Dimension. One Block Radius are known for their unique eclectic beats(influenced by everyone from Hall and Oats,the white Stripes to E-40)and for their melodic often humourous lyrics. Their new single "You Got Me" (available on iTunes) is now getting picked up by radio stations across the US. They just signed a deal with Mercury/Island/Def Jam. The new album, which is self titled, was released on September 16th of 2008 and is available on iTunes as a bonus track edition.
