In 1998, Oliver Wittchow switched to programming the Game Boy in C. He performed for the first time with his newly written program "Nanoloop" at the "Liquid Sky Club", Cologne, at a Lo-fi contest, which he won. He recorded a 7" single, which was released in 1999 on the xxc3 label. Since Nanoloop's initial release, Oliver has created two distinct versions of the software on two different platforms, the 1.x series for original Game Boy, and 2.x series for the Game Boy Advance. He is also responsible for creating Nanovoice, a primitive additive synthesizer for the original Game Boy. He has released his own music with Nanoloop and Nanovoice on various labels. The aforementioned 7" on xxc3, as well as compilation appearances on Disco Bruit and Astralwerks respectively.
