Off Road Minivan is an American alternative rock/emo band known for blending nostalgic early 2000s emo, shoegaze, and hard rock elements. Based in Red Hook, New York, the band gained attention for its vulnerable songwriting and dynamic live energy, often incorporating personal voice notes from family members into their musical scrapbook-style recordings. Formed in 2018, the band originated with the Spiral Gaze EP. The group is led by bassist/vocalist Ryan Tuck O’Leary—who is also known as the vocalist for the metalcore band Fit For A King—and features a triple-guitar attack from Melvin Brinson, Dave Trimboli, and Miles Sweeny, with drums rounded out by Evan Garcia Renart. Their sound is frequently characterized as a "love letter" to the alternative landscape of the early 2000s, evoking the sound of acts like Hawthorne Heights and Anberlin.
