About Oceans on the Moon

Oceans on the Moon is the brainchild of Marco Martini (bass, keyoboards, beats, programming) and Andrea Leone (vocals, guitar, keys, beats, programming). Their project started in mid 2012, from the ashes of previous groups involving the two long-time friends. The genoese band mixes different music styles (new wave, post-rock, alternative rock, electronica) into a unique, evocative style, distinguished by a gloomy and restless mood. Dense guitar textures, pulsing bass lines, dark and tense electronic sounds provide some underlying mediterranean passion to a style heavily, and equally, influenced by recent german electronica and british post-rock, new wave, and indie rock.
