Nick Sellstedt split with Ludvig Ottosson and Daniel Lundgren from Swedish metalcore band BRIGHTHAVEN in 2016. Just after leaving Brighthaven, Nick and Ludvig plunged headlong into songwriting. In early 2017, Max Mauritsson and Daniel Lundgren joined the founders couple, so the newly minted four-piece lineup NOIJA was ready to go. The alternative metal band NOIJA started with three singles followed by debut album COLORBLIND in autumn 2017. The name NOIJA comes from astrological sources and designates the life path number 4, but it can be better interpreted as a four-leaf clover.
