Njomza Vitia (born April 22, 1994) is an Albanian-American singer-songwriter. Njomza was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Illinois. She has been performing in talent shows since she was five. At the age of 14, she performed in a band called "Scarlett." However in 2011 the band dismantled and she went off to pursue a solo career. Vitia began uploading cover songs on her YouTube channel. Njomza was discovered by Mac Miller and got signed to his label Most Dope. Some time later, she released her first mixtape "Gold Lion" on April 22nd, her 19th birthday. She also co-wrote Ariana Grande's songs "7 Rings" and "Thank U, Next".
