About Nine Inch Noize

Nine Inch Noize is an industrial-electronic supergroup consisting of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails alongside German techno producer Alexander Ridha, better known as Boys Noize. The project materialized following a series of successful creative partnerships between the artists, most notably Ridha’s 2024 continuous dance mix of Reznor and Ross's Challengers score, and his subsequent co-production contributions to the 2025 TRON: Ares soundtrack. Building on this studio synergy, the trio embarked on the extensive 2025–2026 "Peel It Back" tour, which saw classic Nine Inch Nails tracks radically retooled and injected with heavy, caustic techno and deep house production. The trio officially adopted the moniker "Nine Inch Noize" ahead of their live debut at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Taking over the festival's Sahara stage, the group presented a visceral, minimalist performance that firmly bridged foundational industrial-alt rock with punishing, contemporary club sounds. Coinciding with their Coachella appearance, the supergroup announced their self-titled debut studio album, officially designated as Halo 38 in the Nine Inch Nails release catalog. Released on April 17, 2026, the project represents a reinvigorated, dancefloor-oriented evolution of the signature Nine Inch Nails atmosphere.
