About Newtrament

Newtrament was a DJ in London credited with releasing the first ever British hip hop record in the UK. Newtrament started out working with a band, Krew, getting involved in the new electronic music and breakdancing. In 1983, he recorded London Bridge is Falling Down (Jive, 1983). Although the pioneer of an entire genre of recorded music, Newtrament doesn't appear to have recorded anything else since then. newtrament now lives in california and is currently signed to the u.s. fire brand reggae label special cut muzik which presently is comprised of such artists as jr. toots - rootsman -& d.j allywad & jr. P newtrament is currently over seeing west coast underground old skool artististry for a forth coming release with ceo for special muzik jah p. new muzik ,soon come ,hold tight , keep ya ears to net
