Formed in 2017 in Quebec City, NecroticGoreBeast has rapidly ascended to the forefront of the international Slamming Brutal Death Metal scene. Composed of veterans from notable underground acts like Bookakee, Soiled By Blood, and The Outborn, the band has built a reputation for blending technical precision with crushing, modern production. Their sound is defined by a relentless combination of lightning-fast blast beats, gut-wrenching slams, and the inhuman guttural vocals of frontman John Mayer. Since signing with the specialist label Comatose Music, the quartet—consisting of Mayer, guitarist Michael Chamberland, bassist Alexandre Brochu, and drummer JP Bouchard—has maintained a prolific release schedule. Following their self-titled debut in 2019, they expanded their sonic brutality with Human Deviance Galore (2021) and the critically acclaimed Repugnant (2023). Their most recent work, the 2025 EP Brute, is widely considered their most aggressive material to date, further cementing their status as heavyweights of the "Gore" aesthetic. Renowned for their high-energy, physically intense live performances, NecroticGoreBeast has toured extensively across North America and Europe alongside genre titans such as Aborted and Ingested.
