There are at least 2 bands going by the name Narration. Narration have progressed quickly since they won XFM’s uploaded competition. They’ve been to The States (where they were invited backstage at Bruce Springsteen’s Boston show), performed live on WBRU (one of the East Coast’s most listened to radio stations) and toured Britain. They have just begun recording with Mark Williams (Biffy Clyro, Fightstar, Oceansize), and the final mixes from those sessions look set to deliver on the band’s promise to mix raw passion with sky-scraping hooks. Critics have drawn comparisons between Narration’s sound and the ‘car-crash romanticism’ of Brand New (The Fly), Bloc Party ‘at their most emotive’ (subba-cultcha), Mercury Rev (XFM), and Smashing Pumpkins (Big Cheese). This Narration are now known as The Wild Archive Another band under the name Narration is a brand new progressive metal band from Eastern Finland, Joensuu. They self-released their first EP, Escalation on 4th of May 2018 accompanied by a music video for Mania, a song off of the EP.
