About Moonglow

1) Dungeon synth project from Los Angeles, California. 2) Jazz band from Russia. 1) Moonglow is a dungeon synth project currently on Dungeons Deep Records. 2) The project founded in spring 2007 had united the best nu jazz forces of Russia. The musicians of Moonglow were born in different parts of the country and joined in St.Petersburg to make fine, delightful and modern music. The musical basis of the project is an accurate and thoughtful electronics from Custo, which was put on delicate harmonies and filled with jazz improvisations. Moonglow is a combination of expirience in jazz (Igor Shilov, trumpet), modern ideas (Dmitry Gurovich, electronics), sophisticated harmonies (Alexandr Alexeev, keyboard), smart "always searching" bass (Phil Mescheryakov, acoustic bass), beauty and charm (Asya Kell, flute), frankness and fine musical taste - all members of the project. Moonglow music could be heard at 4 national radiostations: Jazz, Monte Carlo, Relax FM and Hermitage. According to Luxury Lounge Festival 2008 the project had been voted best Russian lounge band and will represent Russia in Barcelona in August 2008!
