About Moa Lignell
Moa Lignell (born on June 6, 1994 in Alingsås, Sweden) is a Swedish singer-songwriter. In spring 2011, Lignell attended the audition for the 8th season of the singing competition "Idol 2011" on Swedish TV channel TV4. On the first audition, she sang the own composed song "When I Held Ya". Since then, the Swedish audience and jury fell in love with Moa and her song. Lignell was selected as one of the eleven contestants in the final contest. On the semi final in Scandinavium, Gothenburg on December 2, 2011, she was voted out and finished in 3rd place.
