About Metro Trinity

A British Indie Band formed Manchester in the mid 80s . They have jangle pop style and released an EP called "Die Young" in 1987 on Cafetieria Records. Members included Tim Whiteley Colin Rocks Pete Zichovitch Jonny Male (Republica) Jez Williams (Doves) Metro Trinity only other release came on a split flexi with the Inspiral Carpets on Dave Haslam’s Debris fanzine. Which featured the track “Stupid Friends”. The track “Spend My Whole Life Loving You” later appeared on the great Sound Of Leamington Spa Vol 1 compilation. Andy Williams (Doves) joined the band later on, but does not feature on this EP. The band split up shortly after.
