About Metallica & The San Francisco Symphony

In 1999 Metallica teamed with The San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, conducted by composer Michael Kamen, and who previously scored the symphonic arrangements for the song 'Nothing Else Matters' from the multi-platinum album 'Metallica' (a.k.a. 'The Black Album'), to record this live album on April 21-22. The set list contains songs from Ride the Lightning through ReLoad, as well as two new songs: '− Human' and 'No Leaf Clover'. A follow-up to this album was expected to came out at any time but sadly composer and long-time Metallica's friend Michael Kamen died in 2003.
