There are two artists named Matthew Thomas. 1. Matthew Thomas (aka Matt Thomas and Aquila) electronic musician with releases on Dorobo, Synaesthesia, Psy-Harmonics, Undefined Recordings and his own short-lived 'AERIAL' label. 2. Matthew James Thomas (aka Matthew Thomas) is a British actor, best known for his role in the UK drama/musical show, Britannia High. In Britannia High, Thomas plays Jez who is very clever and comes from a wealthy background. His character is particularly prominent in the third episode of Britannia High. Thomas, like fellow Britannia High cast members Sapphire Elia and Georgina Hagen, studied at the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London where he even dated Elia for a short period. Thomas has many TV and Film appearances to his name including Spooks, Bad Girls, Doctors, The Bill, Billy Elliot and About a Boy. In 1999-2000 Thomas starred in Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Whistle Down the Wind at the Aldwych Theatre London alongside Hollyoaks actress Hannah Tointon and former S Club Juniors member Jay Asforis. Thomas played Clarence. His other Theatre credits include Oliver! at the London Palladium and Dick Whittington at Salder's Well. In 2003 Matthew stared in the BBC drama The Lost Prince. He played prince john (older) Matthew's most favourite and treasured possession is his piano, as he loves to play music and write songs. He's also terrified of wasps and one of his favourite actors is the legendary Robin Williams.
