About Matheu Watson

Multi-instrumentalist and composer Matheu Watson is one of the finest young musicians in Scotland today, recognised recently by a nomination for "Best Up and Coming Artist" at the 2009 Scots Trad awards. Best known as regular accompanist with world-renowned piper Fred Morrison, 2010 saw Matheu travel to the remote Island of Berneray to record his debut solo album. The album consists of original and contemporary material and features a stunning cast of good friends, heroes and rogues.
