About Master Saleem

Master Saleem also known as Saleem Shahzada is an Indian singer who is known for his work as a devotional singer and also as a playback singer in Bollywood films, like Heyy Babyy (2007), Dostana and Love Aaj Kal (2009). He has also released several private albums of Punjabi Music and Sufi music. He is the son of world famous singer Sh. 'Pooran Shah Koti' and very talented female singer 'Mrs Madhu Shah koti'. His father started teaching him music when he was six years old and after four years of learning he came with the legendary album CHARKHE DI GHOOK. He was only ten years old at the time. At such a young age he showed so much maturity with his hold on sufi music. He still gets asked to sing thi song repeatedly on all his shows. His father as most of you may already know is the famous Sufi singer. Pooran Shahkoti is also the Guru of Punjab's Raj gayak Hans raj Hans. Mr. Hans treats Saleem as younger brother.
