About Mario Duella

MARIO DUELLA studied music at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi of Milano, where he received diplomas in Choral Music and Conducting, Organo and Organo Composition. He also attended classes on the interpretation of Italian music with Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini . French music with Michel Chapuis , Spanish music with Montserrat Torrent Serra, and music of Bach with Anton Heiller and Victor Lukas. His intense artistic activity has taken place in Italy, and nearly all of Europe, U.S.A., Japan, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Canada, Australia, New Zeeland, Hong Kong, Mexico and Iceland. He has played with the Symphony Orchestra and Choir of RAI of Turin and with several chamber orchestras, including concerts as a harpsichordist and in duo with singers and instrumentalists. He has published a series of pieces from Lucca dating from the 18th Century for Paideia-Baerenreiter. He holds the chair of Music Education in the public Scuola Media of Trivero and is organist and choir director at the parish church of Portula. He has recorded several C.D. and also recorded for various radio and television stations in Europe,U.S.A., Argentina, Japan and Canada. He is a member of the Commision Diocesana di Musica Sacra as a consultant for the restoration of historic organs. www.marioduella.com
