Marilyn McLeod (born in Detroit, MI, in 1939; died November 2021) was an American singer, songwriter and keyboard player who used to be in the short-lived soul band The Nu Page. She has a solo album out called 'I Believe in Me'. She was the sister of Alice Coltrane and grandmother of Steven Ellison aka rapper Flying Lotus. McLeod spent her formative years as a Motown songwriter, with her main songwriting partner being Pam Sawyer. Together, they wrote hits such as "You Can't Turn Me Off (In the Middle of Turning Me On)" (US R&B #2, Pop #12) by High Inergy and Diana Ross' monster 1976 disco hit "Love Hangover". In 2010 she released the album I Believe In Me, a set of songs co-written with veteran Motown songwriter Janie Bradford.
