About Maria Loves Me

Maria Loves Me (a.k.a. "Maria Me Voli") were a Gothic Rock, Synth-Pop, and EBM band from the Sisačko (Sisak) and Petrinja regions of central Croatia. The band formed in 2010, released the song "Hypocrisy" under the name "Swedish", then reformed as "Maria Loves Me", before ultimately disbanding in 2012. Band members included: Erik Bajčić (vocals, lyrics, composing, arrangements, programming), Ana Bajčić Buić (vocals), Martina Janko (backing vocals), Irbas Škrinjarić (vocals), and Miranda May (vocals). All of the band's songs were recorded in "Plava Kuća", (Blue House) a studio in the city of Sisačko, where the band connected with studio owner and sound engineer, Igor Grdić. The band's only official appearance, however, remains the song "GRAD" (a.k.a. "GRAD Cocteau in Fog Version") from Sombrati Records' "Gothic Rock Around The World" (2012) digital compilation album.
