Just when urban jazz fans thought every show, cruise and festival would always include the same lineup of veterans they've seen a million times—Suddenly, there's Marcus Adams, a fresh, dynamic voice on the scene, ready to funk things up and inspire them to fall in love with the sax all over again. While the Milwaukee based composer and performer has enjoyed success over the years in gospel and jazz and has worked with and opened for numerous legends in both arenas, his emotionally compelling and sensuously grooving EP marks Adams' long awaited debut as a solo artist. Adams co-wrote the six tracks with the collection's producer Demonte Posey, whose R&B/jazz resume includes saxophonists Jimmy Sommers and Najee and vocal great Eric Benet.
