Marco Albani, Italian guitarist and composer, published in 2006 the CD "Chronos" with the independent label Delta-Top; this debut work receives immediate acclaim from the critics, and in 2007 is included into the programming of the prestigious web-radio SmoothJazz.com as well as in that of several International radio stations. The new album "Encuentro" (2010), with its eleven original tracks (one of which sung in Portuguese by Umberto Vitiello), witnesses the great musical growth of the artist who, through a refined variety of sounds and musical instruments, leads the listener through a voyage in the soul of the Latin world. Moving along a thin borderline between acoustic Jazz and World Music, "Encuentro" is the expression of the encounter between cultures, people and different ways of life, with a transversal vision characterized by the composer music style.
