About Maloo

1. Maloo was a German 70s band from Hannover. Typical Kraut fusion with some Canterbury influence, cleverly played and full of invention. Members: Bass, Acoustic Bass – Wolf Struck; Drums, Percussion – Michael Kullick; Guitar, Acoustic Guitar – Bernd Töberg; Piano – Reinhold Heil. Album release: "All About the Things" 1978 . 2. The band became into being in January 2006 when Marloes joined Roland and Charles and their old school Yamaha drumcomputer. Jams and ideas developed into songs. More songs were written. All songs are about Love, Lust and Life itself. A few months later: Time to give the drumcomputer the boot and find a real drummer to add some dynamics to the songs. Enter Theo. December 2006 Maloo played their first gig. Sounds like? We think Maloo sounds like a summer breeze. Others might think they sound like a train derailment, though. Well... actually they do sound like a train derailment at times.
