About Malak

Malak refers to at least two different artists. 1) Malak El Husseiny (born 5 September 1993 in Cairo, Egypt), performing under the mononym Malak, is an Egyptian singer-songwriter. With an 'oeuvre of mid-tempo slow-burners that effortlessly blend soulful melody with poignant composition', she debuted with the EP Alters in 2014. She later appeared on The X Factor Arabia in 2015, and is currently preparing to release her debut album in 2021. 2) Emerging from Florida, United States, Malak is a Progressive Deathcore band. Malak presents a blend of Progressive and Technical Metal as well as breakdowns from the metalcore vein. The short self titled EP confirms that Malak is not only a group of skilled musicians and performers, but also that they are interested in furthering themselves in what they do. 3) Malak was a stoner rock band from Frankfurt am Main, Germany, active in the early 2000s.
