About Made in China

This page represents several different artists/bands using the name Made in China 1) Made in China was a post-hardcore\neocrust band from Moscow, Russia. The band disbanded in the fall of '09. Former members of the band formed post-metal outfit Cikuta. 2) Made in China (or Maiden China according to some) is four piece Prunk (mix of Prog and Funk) band, hailing from Omagh, N. Ireland. At the moment the band is on a hiatus as three members of the band go to university in a foreign land. However the band regularly reunites for the holidays to play gigs in and around Omagh. 3) Made in China was a small emo/post-hardcore band out of Fort Collins Colorado. 4) A collective of Improvisational noise musicians from Macao, China 5) A rock band from Dunedin, New Zealand 6) An indie band from Oslo, Norway. 7) Ska Punk band from Lewisville, TX. One of its members later played in Dallas Skacore band Detonate. Their only album is able for listenning on GrooveShark. 8) M.I.C. stands for “Made In China” where this band was formed a couple of decades ago by Yvon Serré, a former member of The Harry Straight Band. The group released three albums while in China before Serré returned home to Canada, found some new bandmates and released no less three more albums, with the last being 6th Sense almost ten years ago. After that rather lengthy hiatus, 7th Heaven opens with the chugging foot tapper “Feel That Rock N Roll” that quite honestly is nice enough but never really seems to get out of first gear, despite threatening to do just that several times.
