About MB&C

The band MB&C was founded in 1995 by Bogdan Tașcău and Sorin Frunză, both students at the Popular School of Arts ("Școala Populară de Arte"). The group's first song to receive heavy airplay on radio stations in the country was "Îmi place". In 1999, MB&C released the song "Marea", featuring Cristina Protopopescu as its lead singer, a song that quickly became a hit, at least for a summer.
