About M'BARKA BEN TALEB
For several years M'Barka Ben Taleb has been living in Naples, where she found a second home after a Tunis childhood. After collaborating with many Italian artists, she started her first solo project: "Altocalore", an album linked to the movement she started in 2002. "Altocalore" acts on the assumption that the multicultural society is now a fact and we better deal with it in as positive a fashion as possible. M'Barka performs a straightforward mix of Arabic, Eastern and Italian music. In 'her' Naples, all these cultures interact and together they are the warm heart of the city.
