About Luke Schneider

Luke Schneider (born in Dayton, Ohio, in 1980) is an American pedal steel guitarist from Nashville, TN, who makes new age ambient music. Schneider was named after Paul Newman's character in the film Cool Hand Luke. He cut his teeth playing with artists like Margo Price and Caitlin Rose. A popular session player having performed and recorded with Margo Price, Caitlin Rose, William Tyler and many more, he made the move to become into a solo artist. He has also toured as part of Orville Peck's band. His first album, Altar Of Harmony, was created with a 1967 Emmons Push/Pull pedal steel guitar.
