About Λούκας Γιώρκας
Loukas or Loukas Yiorkas (Greek: Λούκας Γιώρκας, born 18 October 1986, Larnaca, Cyprus), is a Greek-Cypriot singer and the winner of the first series of the Greek version of the television talent show The X Factor (Greece). He represented Greece with Stereo Mike in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 as Loucas Yiorkas feat. Stereo Mike with their entry, Watch My Dance. They placed 7th with 120 points, but on the public televote they placed 3rd with 176 points. In September 2009 he released his first CD single, Mazi, which earned a gold status. He had studied Biology at the university of Patras. On 11 January 2011, Greece's Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) announced that Giorkas was one of six participants in a national final to select Greece's entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011. He won the National Final, receiving the most points from the public and juries.
