About Look Mum No Computer

Look Mum No Computer is the stage name of London-based musician Sam Battle. As well as his solo work, Battle is a member of the band Zibra. Characterised by rich, layered synth sounds, Look Mum No Computer overlays vocals delivered with Battle's distinctive, urgent energy. Outside of his music, Battle is known for building his own analogue synths, sometimes out of unusual components (e.g. the Furby Organ). It is partly this work that has gained him a sizeable following on YouTube and Patreon under the same LMNC name, where Battle regularly posts videos detailing his electronic experiments. (At the time of writing, videos on his YouTube channel have had over 79 million views.) In February 2026, Battle was named as Britain's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. Whilst not recording music or videos, Battle also writes and produces music for others. His credits include: Barns Courtney - Glitter & Gold - producer and co-writer Barns Courtney - You And I - producer and co-writer Kawala - Do It Like You Do - co-writer Barns Courtney - Hollow - co-writer A Street Cat Named Bob - Satellite Moments - Lyrics - co-writer
