About Linnea Dale

Linnea Dale (born April 22, 1991) is a Norwegian singer. She was a contestant on the fifth season of the Norwegian Idol series in 2007, finishing in seventh place. Dale collaborated with the Drammen band Donkeyboy on their debut album Caught in a Life, providing guest vocals on the songs "Ambitions", "Sometimes", and "Awake". "Ambitions" debuted on the Norwegian singles chart at number seven on April 6, 2009, and reached the number one spot on June 29, after 13 weeks on the charts. She also recorded the song "Anything Goes (and Everything's Alright)" with Magnus Sinnes. Linnea Dale grew up in Telemark and her unique voice crept into our ears, consciousness and hearts back in 2007 via Idol, which she as a 15 year old made it to the final. After this, Linnea became part of the pop-venture Donkeyboy. Despite her young age, Linnea has life experience and musical references that make her a unique addition to Norway’s musical landscape. Her debut album Lemoyne Street from 2012 was a collaboration with Øystein Greni and Nikolai Eilertsen.
