About Linda, Roos en Jessica
Linda, Roos & Jessica was a Dutch group of three female singers, and started as a joke. Starring as actresses in the Dutch soap 'Goede tijden, slechte tijden', Babette van Veen (Linda), Guusje Nederhorst (Roos) en Katja Schuurman (Jessica) sang a song together for the various artists album accompanying the series in 1995. The single 'Ademnood' was released in celebration of the 1000th episode of the TV series. Little could they know that the song, produced by duo Fluitsma & Van Tijn reached the #1 spot on the Dutch charts. The decision to continue the success was easy and an entire selftitled album followed. The singles 'Alles of niets', 'Lange nacht', 'Goeie dingen' and 'Druppels' were also released. The last single, '1999x', reached the charts in May 1998. On July 26th, 1998, the group gave a farewell concert at ShowbizCity in Aalsmeer.
