About John LeCompt

John Charles LeCompt is an American guitarist (born: March 10 1973). He was born in Little Rock. He was the guitarist and lead vocalist for the bands Mindrage and Kill System. John joined Evanescence as their guitarist after the recording of Fallen (co-wrote "Taking Over Me") in 2003. He co-wrote "All That I'm Living For" on the album The Open Door. He was fired from Evanescence by Amy Lee (May 4 2007). He is the guitarist and backing vocalist for the bands Machina and Mourningside.He collaborated with Nailed Promise (with Mindrage) on a split EP and the Living Sacrifice tribute album "In Memoriam". He joined up with Rocky Gray and was the featured vocalist on the song "Seems Like Forever" (Soul Embraced, Immune, 2003).
