There are 2 bands (or more) with the name Lachryma. 1. Lachryma was formed in the summer of 2008 by vocalist Melkor Grimm. The band was greatly influenced by Paganism and Nature, striving to create a more 'untainted' form of black metal music - following in the footsteps of Burzum, Nokturnal Mortum, and early Bathory. The band is currently working on recording their demo album 'March the Hordes to War' which will be released through Swampkult Productions. 2. Lachryma is a neofolk act made by Robert K. (Exinctionist) originally from Newfoundland.. The project has been active since 2011 and has been releasing music in a cassette format since 2013.
