About La Aferra
La aferra was a HC/punk band formed in Kalisz, Poland in 1991 with the "energy flow to create any eccentricities amongst a few young champions of better tomorrow" as the leader Igor Strapko states. The band called their music Green Noise due to their pro-green and ecologic roots. La aferra follow the Straight Edge movement's philosophy, declare themselves vegetarians and actively protect animal rights. The band comprised of: Igor Strapko - vocals Piotr Sadowski - guitar Marcin Pałęcki - drums Marek Tworek - bass guitar, vocals Patryk Cannon - guitar, vocals (as of 1999 LP: Miłość)
