About LUCA HAENNI

Luca Hänni is a Swiss singer-songwriter, dancer, and model. Born on 8 October 1994 in Bern, he started his music career by taking part of season 9 of Deutschland sucht den Superstar, the German edition of Pop Idol, in 2012. He won the competition, and his debut single, "Don't Think About Me", reached number one in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. His debut album, My Name Is Luca, achieved similar success by topping the charts in Austria and Switzerland, and includes the single "I Will Die for You". In 2019 he represented Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "She Got Me". He qualified for the Grand Final and finished in fourth place, in the process achieving Switzerland´s first top 5 placement in the contest since 1993.
