About Kvist

Kvist is a black metal band formed in 1993 in Hønefoss, Norway by the ex-members of deceased doom metal band Urd, Verðainne og Skuld. The group released a demo-tape in 1994, a rehearsal tape (same year), which gained them a record deal with Avantgarde Records, and a full-length album "For kunsten maa vi evig vike" in 1996. At some point Kvist became an one-man-band of Vergrimm and the second album was supposed to be released in late 1997, but at the same year the band seemingly split-up. Returned with a new demo-track in 2022. Members: Tom Arne Alexandersen - vocals, bass Hallvard Wennersberg Hagen (aka Vergrimm) - guitars, keyboards Endre Bjotveit - drums Session members: Trondr Nefas (aka Alastor) - guitars
