About Klotprojektet
Klotprojektet is an experimental Swedish electronic band which consists of a person and a computer. Klotprojektet's songs are mostly humorous, and a recurring theme in the lyrics are gnomes - many songs are sung from the perspective of gnomes, others are about humans and their relationships to gnomes. The gnomes are usually mean. Klotprojektet has released one album entitled "Klotet rullar iväg!", and is now working on a second album called "Klotet rullar vidare!!". Outside of the official albums, Klotprojektet has recorded some covers of various songs (such as "Enter Sandman") which have not been officially released due to copyright issues. The band's name was invented by writing down a list of Swedish progg bands and changing the central word of each name to "klot". Participants of an IRC channel then voted for the best name, and "Klotprojektet" (from Tältprojektet) won by a wide margin. ("Doktor Klot" (Doktor Kosmos) came in second place in the vote. Klotprojektet has considered using some of the names that did not win as future album names.)
