Keira is a Finnish singer, best known from her 2023 entry at UMK (Uuden musiikin kilpailu), the Finnish song contest selecting the country's contestant for Eurovision Song Contest. 2. Keira is a DJ, singer and songwriter from Aberdeen, Scotland, who grew up on a mixture of Prince, jazz, Level 42, Queen, Paul Simon, classical music, happy hardcore and house. She moved to London in 1998 to study and taught herself how to DJ & mix and experimented with house, breakbeat, hip hop and techno. On an exchange trip to Rotterdam was introduced to drum & bass and for the next 6 years she played professionally at the biggest D&B parties across Holland (and also various venues in Israel and the USA). Keira was a resident for: Hostile Takeover, Drum & Breakz / DWA and Bootleg DJ Cafe and Bassground.
