Kauta (real name Kaouthar Boulfazat, born June 13, 2003 in Bonn, Germany) is a German-Moroccan singer and rapper known for her blend of urban pop, rap and oriental influences. She performs in German, French and Arabic, a reflection of her multicultural background and North African roots. Her career began early, and she first gained national attention through the German rap-contest show Rap La Rue, where she placed fourth in its first season. Following the show, Kauta collaborated with artists like Lune (NaNa) and Milano (On/Off), later releasing solo tracks such as Unsichtbar, which helped her reach a young online audience.
