About Karen Brunon
Karen Brunon is from Puy-en-Velay, FRANCE, where her parents ran a music store. Until the age of 11, she studied violin at the Puy Conservatory. She entered the Paris Conservatory at 16. She began working with Michel Legrand in 1996. She has worked among others with Keren Ann, Laurent Voulzy, Julien Clerc (she is his concertmaster), Étienne Daho, Jessica Marquez, Vanessa Paradis, Mika, Raphael, Charles Aznavour and Brian Wilson . Since 2012, she has participated in the adventure of the Circus group with Calogero and Stanislas. In November 2014, she released her first solo album The Ideal Girl produced by Benjamin Biolay, a childhood friend, with the collaboration of Élodie Frégé. From 2023 to 2024, she is part of the orchestra which accompanies the " Dans mes cordons " tour of singer Renaud.
