About Just A Ride
Just A Ride is a 4-piece band from Milan, Italy. After recording a pretty lame home-made demo as Molock.org in 2008 and another pretty lame home-made demo as Molock the following summer, the band decided to change its name and to release Spaces EP, a brief summary of the band's many musical influnces. "Just A Ride" is a famous quotation from Bill Hicks. In a song they say "'invent with pride and maverick mind' is our rule", and that's JaR. As the name says, their music comes from simple thought and pure inspiration; Just A Ride try to create something new and uncommon, never to fall in easy categorizations and always to surprise the listener. This is the reason why every single song sounds different from the other; the words "rock" or "indie" are genres near to the band's music but that just can't fit them well and, like any other noun or adjective, are not wanted.
