About Juris Fernandez

Juris Fernandez (born March 18, 1978) is a singer/song writer from Manila, Philippines. The youngest of two, her father is an engineer, while her mother and elder sister are doctors, both specializing in obstetrics-gynecology. She attended her pre-school, grade school and high school in the Ateneo de Davao University, while she finished BS-Psychology in Miriam College, Quezon City. She is presently taking up a Master's Degree in the Ateneo de Manila University. Together with Chin Alcantara and Mike Manahan, she started her recording career in a band called MYMP (Make Your Mama Proud) along with other members. Sometime around 2009, Juris left the group and started to become a solo recording artist. Her first solo album entitled 'Now Playing' consisted of tracks 'I Don't Want To Fall', 'Di Lang Ikaw', and more. Also, she had recorded some songs that were used in Philippine sitcoms/teledramas like Rubi, Katorse, and even in a movie entitled 'I Love You, Goodbye'.
