Joshua Trenton is based in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, created by founding members Tim 'Johnny IX' Bower, and James 'Joshua Trenton' Buettler. Current members include from left to right: Paul "Slick" Michalenicz (bass guitar), Brian "Fucking Brian" Toal(keyboard), Timothy "Johnny IX" Bower (lead guitarist, back-up vocals), James "Joshua Trenton" Buettler (vocalist), James "Griswold" Young (rhythm guitar), and Killian "Killer Red" Bottorf (drums, back-up vocals). Joshua Trenton has been described a cross between Dethklok and Megadeth, using thrashy riffs and melodies, fused with qualities of death metal drums and vocals. There influences range from: Dethklok, Megadeth, Gorrillaz, Blur, Lamb of God, Flotsam and Jetsam, etc. They are currently working on their second album, tentatively titled Joshua Trenton II (Tim Bower had created Joshua Trenton and had released an album under the same name during his early works as a solo artist.)
