He worked with a lot of artists in Chicago, such as Jeff Parker and the Chicago Underground Quartet. Josh Johnson moved two Los Angeles in 2012 but thought he would only spend a year or two there. In 2020, Johnson is still in L.A., where he recorded his debut album Freedom Exercise with three of his closest friends that he describes as “musically omnivorous” — the same quality that inspired him to stay on the West Coast. Josh Johnson is the musical director and saxophonist for Leon Bridges since 2018 and has toured with him around the world. 2. Comedian Josh Johnson Originally from Louisiana, Josh Johnson moved to Chicago and later New York. He worked as a writer for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. He appeared on Comedy Central and Netflix. From 2019 on he toured with Trevor Noah for several years.
