About Joris Anne

Joris Anne (born December 8, 1997) is an outsider musician from The Netherlands. Known for his arhythmic production style and atonal singing voice, Anne is no stranger to the Dutch underground scene. Anne released his self-titled debut album early 2021, through his own label, Het Vrijkwartier Records. Tapes 01, a mixtape of acoustic renditions and outtakes got released later in 2021. In September 2022, Joris Anne's sophomore effort Tijdsbestek got released. The album was mixed and mastered by Rotterdam artist Kunsttranen, who is even featured on one of the album's tracks, providing vocals. After that, Anne self-produced his third main project, a mini-album titled Dromen en vroeger, which dropped in February 2023. The album featured a step-up in sound, and can be described as 'outsider gabber'. His fourth album Hartendief, produced by Dutch pop weirdo Thor Kissing, was released on September 22nd, 2023. In 2024, a trilogy of mini-albums known by the collective title Mijn alles started rolling out, of which the first, Mijn lief (the fifth overall Joris Anne album), produced by Kunsttranen and Thor Kissing, was released on March 15, 2024. The second one, Mijn muze (Joris Anne's sixth studio album), featuring production from Thor Kissing, Jeff Woesthoom (of the Zaandam-based band TUPPERWR3) and Kunsttranen, as well as Anne himself, followed on September 20th of the same year. The third part of the trilogy will follow in 2025.
