There are at least two current bands known as Jonesin'. Jonesin' (Long Island, NY) is a melodic, DIY pop-punk spawned from the ashes of Down In The Dumps. Jonesin' has been around since 2007 releasing 7"s on various different record labels including Dead Broke, Dirt Cult, Muy Authentico, Kiss Of Death, & more. (Members of: Get Bent, Off With Their Heads, Basement Black). Jonesin' (San Francisco) is a girl-boy dance-pop outlet consisting of Matt and Jenny Jones. They have been compared consistently to Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta and every once in a while to Lee Hazlewood and Nany Sinatra. They've released an LP, "Hi, We're Jonesin'," and their song "Bummer Summer" is featured on Big Whup Industries' 2009 compilation CD "What is Happening..."
