Johnny Yukon is a Los Angeles-based, Philadelphia-bred singer/songwriter and producer who began making waves in 2015 with his beat-heavy, urban pop confections on SoundCloud. As his internet profile increased, Yukon began drawing interest from labels, and eventually settled on Atlantic. In 2017 he issued a trio of singles that began with the infectious "Laptop," which was co-produced by Drake collaborator Frank Dukes. He followed up that success two months later with "Paper" and "Malibu Feels." Another single, the R&B-, hip-hop-, and dark pop-infused "Lonely," arrived in early 2018 and appeared on that year's Installation I LP. Two years later he inked a deal with Elektra, resulting in the release of 2021's Flight Plan 001, which featured previously released early faves like "Grow," "Climate," and "Night Like This" alongside several new songs including the hits "Mystery" and "Soon."
